'A portrait of humanity and our enduring lack of it.'
An ART + GRAFT Gallery Editions print of Dominic Rouse's magnificent 'Ecce Homo' . The artist has described this photograph as a 'portrait of humanity and our enduring lack of it'. It was in part inspired by Phillip Larkins poem 'Nothing To Be Said' and partly by a visit Rouse made to Office S-21 in Phnom Penh in Cambodia, the principal interrogation facility of the brutal Khmer Rouge, which is the setting for the image. The edition is limited to 250 individually signed and numbered prints.
The moving story of Ecce Homo's creation can be seen in this video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=axBz8dCDi_g
