About Mária Haraszti:

Mária Haraszti was born in Budapest, Hungary. Since her childhood, painting and drawing have been her greatest passions. Her works have been selected and featured in several art competition across various countries in Europe. She has already held several solo exhibitions such as at the Montázs Art Cafe in Budapest and in Hotel Grauer Wolf in Erlangen (Germany) or at the Corvinus University of Budapest and she possesses several award winning paintings. Her favourite medium is watercolor, she loves its dreamy texture and the endless possibilities one can create with it. Being a self-taught artist, she loves to experiment and create powerful images coupled with abstract color and detail. Beside of watercolor paintings, she regularly creates acrylic paintings on canvas and alcohol ink artworks on canvas and photopaper. Her goal is to create art that plays on people's emotions and triggers thoughts or makes people feel happy and comfortable when looking at them in their homes.
