Description:
I was inspired to paint this monochrome version of Rufus after seeing a fox in the early morning just outside my home. This violet and white painting portrays a fox in the moonlight and represents a creature that hides itself very well in the urban environment.
The fox moves very stealthily and here you can see it just after it has stepped over a log.
The frame is silver in colour with a white inner slip.
The painting is in oil on canvas panel.
Like all of my oil paintings it has been well varnished to protect the finish.
