'Namita (Namite) Certain Papuan tribes in New Guinea believe in this primeval female deity who impregnated herself with her own big toe and bore twins, whom she initiated in the arts and crafts useful to man.'
This piece is circular because it was printed to an aluminum disc. In 2017 it spent much of the early summer in the juried May Show, LCC, Kirtland, Ohio.
As most artists would admit, 'It's groovy to be the only circular artwork in a show!'
Started from a photograph, this is a mixed process digital artwork.
UVcurable inkjet printed to 1st surface round DiBond aluminum. Aluminum French cleat on reverse side. COA provided, placard signed on reverse side.
