The Usual Suspects is a painting that I created about racial profiling and poke fun at the racial stereotypes of early cartoons. Dumbo is one of my all time favorite movies and the 'black crows' were extremely ethnic and definitely had African American characteristics. I had read that Walt Disney was an antisemite, but happily I just recently found out that that was not true. He actually hired a black animator named Floyd Norman that worked on many of the early cartoons including Dumbo and Robin hood.
