The idea with my pictures, is to make a known thing, the human body, nearly unrecognisable, and have an abstract look at first. Than the wiever realises, that it is actually a figure, with vibrant, unusual colors, and in an extreme cutout.
This picture is a part of a series titled Flamebodies. With these paintings I explore the connection of colors, and forms, and push the boundaries of figure and abstract, and try to achieve a certain sensation within the wiever.
This is a genuine oil painting, on canvas, which is mounted on wooden frame, the size is 40 x 80 cm.
The painting is new, it was exhibited with the other pieces of the series in Budapest, Hungary in may, 2017, at MOM Gallery.
